Puzzle Me This, Cover Reveal, and a Promo Deal
I absolutely love jigsaw puzzles, though 1,000 pieces is my limit. My favorite puzzles are made by Cobble Hill, which is a Canadian-based puzzle maker (they also sell to U.S. and internationally). Great quality and the one time I was missing a piece (that happens on occasion), I filled out an online form and they sent me a new puzzle. What’s not to love?
Anyway, because I love jigsaw puzzles, I always enjoy creating an online version for my latest books, in this case, the fifth Superior Shores Press Anthology: Midnight Schemers & Daydream Believers: 22 Stories of Mystery & Suspense. I always make them easy-ish (this one is 45 pieces).

I can’t start my day without first doing Wordle and the NY Times mini crossword, and I’ll often relax with a longer crossword in the middle of the afternoon. However, for some reason, I have no patience for jigsaw puzzles, which is odd, given my background is in the visual arts. Go figure!
Lois, I love Wordle and have a very long streak (I have actually solved 3 x on first try). My new starter word is very good. I do like the mini but for long crosswords, I need a puzzle book (which I have). I also love NYT Connections and Letter Boxed. I can waste a lot of time on those. Oh, and Spelling me. I have reached Queen Bee every day for several months. For jigsaw, I have set up on my kitchen island so I can watch TV and do the jigsaw puzzle. I have little patience for just sitting and watching TV.
I also love jigsaw puzzles and completed yours in 4:39. Thanks for adding to the fun of my day, and congrats on the anthology. It sounds awesome!
wow, Saralyn, that is a record!! Good for you. Thanks re the antho. I am very excited about it.
Can’t wait to hold my copy of Midnight Schemers & Daydream Believers. Doing the puzzle now.
donalee, I have the ARC and will start reading it this week 🙂 Bound to find something that we missed.
Oh, how fun! I will come back to this later this evening. I LOVE puzzles. Like Lois, I do Wordle and Connections but veer away from the New York Times Crossword Puzzle! Terrific cover, Judy, and what a great idea!
Thanks Donell…I love Connections but that one on April 1st I could not solve it! Didn’t get a single one.
I did it! What a clever way to advertise a book. Here’s wishing you and all the writers much success!
Thanks Gay. How long did it take you? Btw, the puzzle site is free and you can choose your puzzle pieces. https://www.jigsawplanet.com – people do seem to have fun with it. I’ve used it a few times.
By the way, I posted this on my Facebook Author page.
Took me 11 minutes. Most fun I’ve had all day.
11 minutes is pretty good Gay. Thanks for sharing!!
I love jigsaw puzzles. Unfortunately, since I discovered Jigsaw planet online, I waste a lot of time enjoying their offerings.
P.S. I’ve been doing too many of these puzzles online. — 3.36
